EatinEatOut : Summer 2013
WWW.EATINEATOUT.CA 55 After seven years as a (self-taught) professional photographer, and many more woking as a waiter and manager in Halifax's best Italian restaurants, my evolution into food photographer and food stylist over the last year couldn't possibly be a more perfect t. What began as something I did for fun, has led me to a career that I adore. Most mornings I wake up and still can't believe that I get to spend my days cooking, baking, styling and photographing food. Over the last six months, I've ventured into writing and developing my own recipes. Sean (my husband) and I share a love of all-things-Italy, and so many of the dishes we create include Italian notes and in uences -- risotto, prosciutto, gnocchi, polenta, oh, and who could forget the cheese! My list of inspiration is endless which, in my profession, is a wonderful thing.
