Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the pears are lightly browned and soft, and the cheese is melted and golden in colour. 3. Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool for just a few minutes. Cut into 12 to 14 wedges and serve immediately. Makes 12-14 pieces. *Tip: try switching it up by using bread with herbs, garlic, or cheese already baked in for a little extra flavour. 1 premade pizza crust, flatbread, or focaccia* 1/4 cup pesto 1 large pear, cored, thinly sliced 1/3 cup fresh grated parmesan Pear and Pesto Flatbread Premade pizza crust, flatbread, or focaccia makes this recipe an easy, but impressive choice that will inspire oohs and aahs from around the room. The pears are delicately sweet and beautifully bring out the garlic and basil flavours in the pesto. Serve the wedges hot from the oven for optimal cheesy goodness.
